This is 15% less than 2021’s GMV when you look at the numbers on an on-reported basis and 11% on an FX-Neutral basis.
$35.91 billion (48.59%) of eBay’s GMV came from the United States while $37.99 billion (51.41%) came from international regions.
The company experienced an average drop of 5.23% in GMV quarter over quarter until Quarter 4, where they experienced an increase in GMV by 2.85%.

Similarweb’s data on eBay reveals the amount of traffic the site receives on a monthly basis on average.
This number amounts to 702.5 million visits per month.
Users spend an average of six minutes and 58 seconds on the site and visit 6.91 pages per visit.
The site’s bounce rate is 36.92%.
Walmart’s traffic amounts to 382 million visits per month on average, according to Similarweb. This means eBay is still one of the web’s favorite online marketplaces.

Apple doesn’t list download metrics on the App Store, so we need to use other metrics to determine the popularity of the eBay app as far as iOS devices go.
The first clue is eBay’s placement, both in its niche-specific category Shopping as well as the entire App Store as a whole.
eBay ranks ninth in the Shopping category of the App Store, though this placement is subject to change. Its biggest competitors, Amazon and Walmart, rank third and fifth respectively.
eBay users have given the app a rating of 4.8 stars, according to 3.9 million reviews.
The app ranks 84th in the store’s complete list of top free apps. Amazon and Walmart rank 25th and 34th.
