After they sunset Google Optimize in September 2023, Google will be collaborating on A/B testing integrations for GA4 with VWO, Optimizely, and AB Tasty. 

In the future, the APIs will be made publicly available so that anyone can connect their A/B testing solution with Google Analytics.

Are Google Optimize and Optimizely the same?

No, Google Optimize and Optimizely are both separate software solutions, despite the fact that they share similar features.

Will I still be able to access my Google Optimize data?

You won’t be able to access your historical Google Analytics raw data or experience inference results after the sunset date of September 30, 2023. As such, Google is encouraging all Optimize users to download their historical data before then.
