Final thoughts
Crowdfunding has become a popular way to generate money for a variety of different purposes, personal and professional.
For businesses, it offers a way to circumvent costly funding methods like venture capitalist funding and business loans. Many crowdfunding methods have no strings attached outside of fulfilling pledge perks.
For personal campaigns, crowdfunding sites like GoFundMe offer access to relief funds that’d normally be hard to obtain in such a short amount of time, if at all.
And in spite of nearly 60% of crowdfunding campaigns failing, P2P lending is only expected to grow as time goes on.
